What is a personal data and what is the processing of personal data?

Personal data is all information about a living physical person that can be directly or indirectly connected to that person. It’s not just about names and social security numbers, but also for example pictures and email addresses.

All processing of personal data is covered by the Data Protection Regulation and its rules. The processing of personal data is when wec360° AB in some way perform an action on your data regardless of whether it is done automatically or manually.

3. For how long do we save your personal data?

We never save your personal information beyond what is necessary for each purpose. For example, some accounting records need to be saved for seven years due to legislation.

As for our customers, we store personal data during the time it is necessary, which is 10 years in accordance with ABK 09 (General Terms and Conditions ABK 09, for consulting assignments within architectural and engineering activities). ABK 09 states, among other things, that “The consultant is responsible for damages discovered within ten years from the day the consultant’s assignment is completed or otherwise ceased”. If for some reason the company should end up in discussion about the material wec360° AB has produced, it is important to be able to follow the entire work process from order to delivery. For this reason, all email messages are saved for ten years after the delivery date.

4. Personal data assistans

In some situations, it is necessary for us to hire third parties. For example, CRM systems and payroll management systems. They are then personal data assistants to us. We check personal data assistants to ensure that they guarantee the security and privacy of your personal data. When personal data assistants are used, we make sure their treatment of personal data is consistent with our own policies.

5. Actors which are independent personal data liabilities

We also share personal information with some other actors who are independently responsible for personal data, such as the Tax Agency (Skatteverket), when we are obliged to disclose such information with the support of law or government decisions. When your personal information is shared with an operator who is independently responsible for personal data, their policies for privacy and personal data management take effect.
